Hope and springtime go together
Like Resurrection and warmer weather
Like the disciples’ dispelled gloom
When they saw the empty tomb.
Time for us to focus on hope,
To be cheerful, refuse to mope
For Jesus brought new hope to light
By His resurrection through God’s great might.

What Does Resurrection Mean to You?
It was a new idea to disciples then
A first time thing, not one seen again.
He said that He would come to them,
But they did not know where or even when
Always before death had been final
A permanent condition that was undeniable,
But here there was an empty tomb,
The stone rolled aside, an empty room.
The Marys came early to see the grave
Of the Son of God who came to save
The angels said, don’t tremble with fear.
You’re looking for Jesus. He is not here.
He has risen as He foretold
Go tell the others; be quick, be bold.
So they went and shared what they had seen
At the resurrection scene.

Dear Operation Christmas Child Partners.“Thank you for participating in this past season, 2016 Operation Christmas Child. Every single shoebox makes a huge difference; they all add up
one by one. The Tacoma area collected a total of 14,954, which
includes the boxes donated by

over 7 1/2 million and all the sending countries combined gave
over 11,485,662 shoe boxes. It

thousands for his kingdom.”
