F.Y,I. – Please notice in church schedule that as we approach a New Year we have scheduled a

So, for what are you looking in 2016? Better health? The salvation
of some loved one(s)? As we approach a New Year, our prayer is that God will grant you the desires of your hearts, and that all of us
will grow much closer to Jesus. Happy New Year to our favorite
church family. --Pastor Jim and Susan

If our Savior returned today
Just what would He see?
Would He see me living just for Him
Or would I be focusing on me?
If He came in unannounced
To view my heart and soul
Would He find himself in me
Complete and fully whole?
I really need your help to grow
To be where I need to be
To see things the way you do
See what I need to see.
I really want to go with you
To the cross where salvation was given
Oh how much you gave for me
To help me find my way to heaven.
You gave your love, You gave your grace
Your Holy Spirit too
I thank you for your sacrifice
I owe everything to You.

Thought for the Week
“Chrsitmas is more than a Yule log, holly or tree. It is more than natural good cheer and the giving of gifts. Christmas is even more than the feast of the home and of children, the feast of love and friendship. It is more than all of these together. Christmas is Christ, the Christ of justice and charity, of freedom and peace.”

Jesus, thanks for coming here
To live upon this earth
To be born in a stable
A very humble birth

Thank you for the life you lived
The example that you set
Your obedience to your Father
Help us never to forget.

Jesus, come and live with me
I need you by my side.
I need your help and guidance
Lord, please with me abide.

Jesus, come and live in me
I want to be like you.
I want your joy and peace and love
To be constantly in view.

Jesus thank you for your sacrifice
Your gift that sets us free
From our sin and guilt and wickedness
And prepares us for eternity

“.Christmas is the end of thinking you are better than someone else, because Christmas is telling you that you could never get to heaven on your own. God had to come to you.”

THANKS to everyone who donated food items for FISH Food Bank. Just a reminder that this is on-going. Donations of food can be put in the designated boxes in the foyer any time.

The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords
Came to earth for you and me.
The salvation I could not afford
He paid for on Calvary.
What could I ever give Him
That would thank Him for His Son?
I’ll confess, and turn from my sin
And live in the victory won!
I often lose sight of Jesus,
Because of Santa and Christmas trees.
Jesus Christ is more than enough
To grant me eternity.
He’s the Wonderful Counselor,
The Mighty God, Prince of Peace.
He’s the Everlasting Father,
And to think – He cares for me!
He deserves no less than my all,
Though it’s easy to give Him less.
Though born in a humble stall,
God sent me His very best.
