F. Y. I. – Yes, it is here!! Today is another Ask-the-Pastor Sunday. The subject is “What Does the Bible Mean When it Talks About Sanctification?” If you have other questions of Bible interpretation or Christian living that you would like addressed, write them down, give them to Pastor Jim, and he will schedule a Sunday in the future to answer them.
Friendly reminder: Annual Reports need to be submitted to Kay by Wednesday of this week so they can be collated for our meeting on

Sunday. Thanks for your compliance with this request.

The Care Net BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN has begun. Baby bottles will be available from Vicki before and after church today, January 28th. Please fill your bottles with coins, currency or a check (payable to Care Net) and return to Vicki by next Sunday, February 4th.

Hey Ladies-We are planning to go out to lunch at Anton's Cafe which is in Watson's Greenhouse & Nursery.  The date is this Thursday, Jan 18th at 11:00 am.  If you want to attend, please let Betty know TODAY and if you need a ride or want to carpool, please let Betty or Vicki know asap.  Looking forward to a fun time!

CARE NET PREGNANCY & FAMILY SERVICES OF PUGET SOUND is our missions emphasis for January 2018.  

Care Net is a Christ-centered ministry.  They offer hope by providing compassionate practical care, accurate information and life-affirming resources related to pregnancy, sexual health and abortion recovery.  Their goal is to support women and their families in all areas of their lives by serving their practical needs, as well as their emotional and spiritual needs. 

They have 7 pregnancy centers as well as a mobile unit.  Their services include:
Medical Services
Family Services - parenting classes
Preventative - "Smart Programs" which includes presentations at schools
Perinatal Hospice Support - "Lavender Tree"
Abortion Recovery - "Healing Tide"  

This year we are again having a
Baby Bottle Campaign which begins January 14th and concludes February 4th.
The money donated during this campaign will be given directly to the ministry of Care Net.  See more information inside the bulletin and take a few minutes to look at the display in the church foyer.

SO/SEW TOGETHER IS COMING again MONDAY, JAN. 22! Come anytime between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. LUNCH will be served at noon. Enjoy the laughter and friendship! This is just a time to sit and visit OR bring a project to work on …it’s your choice. NO RULES, the goal is to be together. Bring a snack or some food to share. Questions? Call Susan I. Is looking for “up to seven college-aged people (students or non-students) to participate in the next six week
APEX summer missions experience in Mongolia. The specific dates are
June 12
th – July 27th and include training.” If you know of
someone interested, contact Pastor.

LADIES – Helping Hands will be meeting on January 9
th starting
at 9:00 A.M. We will work on our projects for Africa. Also, we
will be having Stone Soup. Each lady is asked to bring one-half
cup of cooked or canned vegetables to put in the soup pot.
Please, no pasta of any kind. Come join us for a wonderful time
of fellowship.
