Thought for the Week
“God does not have to come and tell me what I must do for Him. He brings me into a relationship with Himself where I hear the call and understand what He wants me to do, and I do it out of sheer love for Him.”

Thought for the Week
“God wants worshippers before workers; indeed the only acceptable workers are those who have learned the lost art of worship…The very stones would praise him if the need arose and a thousand legions of angels would leap to do his will.”

Thank you for joining us as we worship God this morning. Our goal is that you will discover the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of both Jesus and His Body, the Church.

So, are you prepared? Today is another
Praise and Testimony Service in this church. What has God done (e.g. saving you) or what has God been doing in your life recently that you can share with your church family this morning? Can’t wait to hear it. Thanks.

Coming event – Tomorrow morning, May 16, 10 A.M. – Sew-in here
at church. See Susan I. for details.

A report from Operation Christmas Child:
Thank you for participating in this past session, 2015 Operation Christmas Child. Every single shoebox gift makes such a difference and they all add up one by one by one. The PNW Region collected 256,389, which includes the boxes donated by ALL of YOU! God is so faithful. The U.S. gave over 71/2 million and the sending countries combined gave over 9,950,000! It is incredible to see how God continues to use this simple project to impact the lives of thousands for His kingdom.

Thought for the Week
“Every day should be a national prayer day. We have forgotten our moorings…We need to know God, love Him, receive Him and give Him the glory for not destroying us yet. We are a country of sinners and need to repent, throw ourselves on His mercy and grace for deliverance.”

Special thanks to all who took time out on Thursday to participate in National Day of Prayer activities. (The community time at Cheney Stadium was a very special gathering). It is through concerted prayer that change will continue to come from the hand of God.
