The God we worship is God of all
He made everything, both large and small
The elephant, so large and strong
The fragile bird with sweetest song,
The mountains with their caps of snow,
The daintiest flower you have seen grow,
He made them all and so much more.
He made what comes after, what came before, He gave us life and, a chance to know
His steadfast love, a chance to grow
Into His plan for you and me,
A life with Him for eternity.

Prayer Family of the Week : Alex, Emily, Trinity and Purity Dail.

We worship our God who is all in all
He always stands, He will never fall
Sometimes we seek Him when we’re weary and worn,
And our dearest dreams are tattered and torn.
We ask for strength to follow through,
To do the things that we must do.
He gives us answers that often surprise
And sometimes His answers are in disguise.
When we look back we can understand
How He grew us through what He planned.
His knowledge and creativity
Gave Him insights we could not see,
So we continue to give Him praise
For what He is doing with all of our days.
Thankful that our lives are in the best of hands
That He has our eternity in His plans.

June 2, 2019 Thought For the Week

“One reason sin flourishes is that it is treated like a cream puff instead of a rattlesnake.”-- Anon.

June 2, 2019 Announcements

Today is the National Day of Prayer for the President. Whatever might be our personal views of him, he does need all of our prayers. And it is our responsibility before God to keep him in our prayers, as the Bible commands us to do for all our leaders (1 Timothy 2:2-3; Eph. Eph. 6:12). So thank you for joining us in this prayer effort.

Coming, June 18-20 – EFCA ONE, National Conference of the
Evangelical Free Church of America, Chicago, IL. (See pastor for more details).

Prayer Family of the Week: Don Berg.

We come to the Father through Jesus, the Son
The holy, omnipotent righteous one
Who, because of of His unending care and love
Left His throne in heaven above
He came to this planet we call earth
To show us how much He thought we were worth
He was willing to suffer agony
To free us from sin, both you and me
He gave His life, a holy ransom for sin
So our new redeemed life could begin
Jesus, our Savior, we give praise to You
For all of the wonderful things you do!
Our lives are yours, so lead the way
So we can follow You every day.
