Enjoy the laughter and friendship! This is just a time to sit and visit OR bring a project to work on…it’s your choice. NO RULES, the goal is to be together. Bring a snack or some food to share. Questions? Call Susan I. (253-471-7898).

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD continues. It is not too late to pick up a shoebox and brochure from the table in the foyer. Be sure to include $9.00 in the envelope attached to the brochure, for shipping costs. You may return your filled shoeboxes any Sunday through November 11th, which is the deadline. After that date, shoeboxes will be taken to a collection site. Questions? Ask Vicki.

F.Y.I. – Next Sunday is scheduled to be another Ask-the-Pastor Sunday. The theme will be: “The God Who Controls Time.” If you have another question concerning Bible interpretation or the Christian life that you would like to hear addressed at a future time, write it down, give it to Pastor, and he will plan a specific time to respond.

Interested in serving your church family? 2 present opportunities: 1. Someone with maintenance skills to come alongside Al and help with repairs around the physical plant. Talk to Al or Pastor. 2. Someone available to spell Susan and Maria with preparing the coffee and treats on Sunday morning.

LADIES, Helping Hands will be meeting this Tuesday, October 9
th starting at 9:00 A.M. Come join us for a special time of fellowship as we work on projects for Tandala Hospital in the Congo. Bring a brown bag lunch and come join us.

Nourish Pierce County Food Banks is hosting their
5th Annual Luncheon, “A Place at Our Table,” Tues., Oct. 9th at Hotel Murano Ballroom. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Program at noon. While the luncheon is free, there will be a request for donations during the program. For more information, call 253-302-3643.
