12/27/2015 January mission news

. Care Net is our missions emphasis for January. Care Net of Puget Sound is thoughtfully named, with a special significance to the word “Care” in their name. It points to self-sacrificial love and to showing compassion for women in crisis and valuing their unborn children enough to defend them. There are 7 local centers, Federal Way, Gig Harbor, Issaquah, Kenmore, Lakewood, Puyallup, and the Tacoma Center which recently moved to a new facility on South Center Street.
Care Net provides many services, all free to their clients. They include pregnancy services, ultrasounds, STI screening, medical consultation, prenatal education, parenting support, and abortion recovery. As they speak with women who come to them, they are able to share the gospel and pray with their clients.

January 17th is Sanctity of Life Sunday and we will have a special presentation. We will also be having a Baby Bottle Campaign.
Please pray:
- for clients who are considering abortion.
- for the many teen clients coming into their centers.
- for pro-life medical professionals who face opposition because of their faith.
- for those in the abortion industry, that God would open their eyes to the truth and bring them to repentance.
-for new volunteers who are growing in their skill and passion for this ministry.
- for clients saved this year.
- for opportunities to connect with the community.
