MISSIONS NEWS FOR JUILY
JULY missionary of the month is Loia McMartin who serves with EFCA ReachGlobal. She is Director of the Member Care & Development Team which “exists to glorify God by encouraging, equipping exhorting our global mission community toward full health and effectiveness.”

From her most ecent newsletter: “What is Member Care? Some people automatically think it means counseling or coming alongside the hurting. It is that, but it is much more. It is about effectiveness. To help our missionaries be most effective in different circumstances, seasons of life, and through various life challenges is the goal of Member Care. It is at least 80% preventative and 20% responsive.

Please pray for Lois as she works wit hou missionaries through various transitions in their lives. Pray for safety as she travels and good health as she has a very busy schedule. Most recently she attended the EFCA National Conference in Austin, Texas. She is very grateful for our partnership with her.
