MAY MISSIONARIES OF THE MONTH
Cozene Wikstrom (Verna’s daughter) continues to serve with MARC (Missionary Aviation Repair Center) in Soldotna, Alaska. She is planning to retire as soon as someone can replace her as bookkeeper. The flight & maintenance staff of MARC help the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach the people living in rural Alaska. This summer they intend to serve 5 Christian youth camps. Four additional pilots will be upgraded or receive initial training in their King Air aircraft. Their goal is to perform maintenance on over 20 different missionary aircraft. They are also hosting 6 church work teams that will help with several facility projects. Their needs include volunteer housing, a conference room, and generator shed, and they need financial assistance to complete these projects.

Their recent newsletter said “Thank you for your faithfulness in praying and financially supporting the ministry of MARC. You play a vital role in allowing us to serve our Lord in the “last frontier.” Please pray for their safety and ministry.

Black Lake Bible Camp is operated by the EFC Pacific NW District and is located in Tumwater. They are currently hiring additional staff for the summer camps. Also, they are in need of $5,500 for their Kids 2 Kamp Scholarships which help needy kids attend camp. Donations can be sent to BLBC, 6521 Fairview Rd. SW, Olympia, WA, 98512. BLBC has a rich history and so many upgrades and improvements have been made to the camp recently.
Dates for upcoming camps:

Jr. Camp 3: Aug. 7-13 Jr. High Camp: July 10-16, Sr. High Camp: July 24-30, :Family Camp: July 3-9.
